About

Thanks for visiting my blog.

Blogger.Ed is a personal blog, where I share thoughts and ideas about social media, blogging and media relations.

This blog doesn’t necessarily reflect the views of my clients or employers. Sometimes I will write about companies I have a commercial relationship with and will endeavour to be open and transparent when this happens.

I write a lot about blogging, because I’m interested in it. I blog at Who’s the Mummy (judged the UK’s #1 parenting blog) and also at Getting Ink, where I write about journalism and PR. I also blog on behalf of a number of corporate clients in the technology, public and non-profit sectors.

In the past year, I have become more involved with the blogging world, founding the Tots100 index of UK parenting blogs, and the MAD Awards, the UK’s first independent awards for British parent bloggers.

As a journalist, I have contributed to a wide range of newspapers, magazines and websites over the last 12 or so years. I’ve also worked with many of the UK’s largest PR agencies, providing media training and workshops on media relations and social media.

Finally, I provide copywriting services to a range of clients, including the BBC, Accenture and Google.
